This Privacy Policy explains how VSL by Baran ("I", "me", "my"), operated by Baran P. through vslbybaran.com (the "Site"), collects, uses and protects information when you visit the Site or contact me about a project.

Information you provide. When you fill out the proposal form or contact me, I collect the details you choose to share, typically your name, email address, company or brand name, and any information about your offer or project you send me.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. This may include your device and browser type, approximate location (derived from your IP address), the pages you view, and how you arrived at the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How I use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal, timeline and pricing.
• To deliver, manage and communicate about the services you engage me for.
• To send project-related updates, and, where you have opted in, occasional emails about my services. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand and improve how the Site performs.

Email and marketing

Email is handled through MailerLite. If you sign up or submit the form, your details may be stored there so I can reply and, with your consent, send relevant updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out whenever you like.

Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics 4) so I can see aggregate, non-identifying usage trends. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Site may then work differently.

How your information is shared

I do not sell your personal information. I share it only with the service providers I use to run my business and deliver your project, for example email (MailerLite), analytics (Google Analytics), communication and review tools (such as Slack and Frame.io), and payment platforms (such as Upwork or Payoneer). Each processes data under its own terms. I may also disclose information where required by law.

Data retention

I keep your information for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver and support your project, and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing. Just email me and I'll take care of it.

International transfers

I work with clients worldwide, and the providers above may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, I take reasonable steps to ensure your information stays protected.

Children

The Site and my services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
